Christina Haack was birthed in Anaheim California on the 9th of July the 9th of July, 1984. Following her graduation, her first job was with the real estate industry. She came across Tarek El Moussa, a member of the real estate industry. The couple ran a prosperous business prior to the 2008 stock market crash and saw several real estate investment and home flippers become bankrupt. As a result of the crash Tarek and Christina El Moussa nearly lost everything. They went from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to a $750/month rental. The economy as well as their business gradually improved. HGTV: Rise to Fame Tarek requested a friend of his to record an audition tape to HGTV in 2011, which included him and Christina flipping the entire house. The tape was in the hands of executives at a production company called Pie Town Productions. The executives fell in love with Tarek and Christina. The contract was made by the couple to HGTV. The show "Flip of Flop", premiered on April 13, 2013. In seven seasons, the show aired from 2013 to 2017. In the show, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically mid-income homes located in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several weeks making upgrades so they could flip the property to make an income. Tarek is focused on demolition and renovating while Christina is focused on designing as well as making sure all goes according to plan.
